I was promised a Boost module for free the guy never came through for me. I had to have back surgery and have not been released for work, funds are big ZERO for the truck, thanks if any body can help.
I have a Boost Elbow brand new if you want it, no charge, let me know. I cant remember for the life of me if someone had asked me for it already?, i hope i was not the guy who did not come through for you with it, my memory is shot
I am using a standard 1/8" npt to 1/4" hose brass fitting and a small pressure regulator w/ 0 - 150# gauge from Lowes. Cost about $15 for regulator, a buck for the brass and a couple of bucks for a few feet of 1/4" fuel line and hose clamps. I can dial in the boost. I have found that with my setup 28# gives lower egt's than in the 30's. I am at 5k ft and gross about 17K.
I hope some one that has purchased and EZ will let loose of their PS module and el. If not then you might consider a $20 option.
Just to clarify what you are looking for. A boost elbow is different from a boost module. The elbow slows down waste gate operation and allows higher boost. The boost module keeps the computer from knowing about the higher boost as it reduces fuel at about 19# if memory serves me. The boost module also prevents an over boost code from being set.
