My buddies and I all have these trucks about nine of them now! Some of us (about 4) of the 12 valve trucks cannot keep a right front tire on these trucks they EAT THEM, the problem is this you look at the tire and we are all running BFG Mud Terrians and every other lug is cut down and shaved off from the back of the tire toward the front, kind of a backward cut on every other lug?? What gives these tires are getting expensive!!!

You are describing a "Feathered edge". The most common causes are excessive toe-in. Check your alignment. It is also quite common for large tires to magnify the problem. I got 65k on my original tires, and currently have 40k on present tires ( which are 2 sizes oversized ). Never have had any scuffed edges. I rotate the tires every 10k and check the tire pressure every week.
Good Luck

This is not a really "featherd edge" as you would call it, it really weird, my mud terrians have lugs on the outside and every other one is like backward cut. It's the total opposite of what you think the tire would cut it it back cut like from the back of the truck forward on every other lug. Still lost happens so quick if i rotate the tires it just eats all of them if I run the front ones only on the front, I seem to get realy good milage out of the tires but I have to buy new front tires about every 20,000 What gives, I have a brand new LINDSTAD alignment track bar and it is tight in adjustment!!

Got 10,000 on my BFG's, same thing is happening to mine. Maybe it's how Smokin Cummins and us southern Ohio boys drive them while SMOKIN out the Power Jokes !!!.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed on this potential Goodyear recall. My Wrangler AT's are garbage. If I took them off and threw them out they wouldn't last ten minutes in the trash. They have worn great, I rotate, maintain pressures, but 3 out 4 have failed road force test, they can't be balanced! I'm saving for some Michelin LTX A/S.

I have not used good /year in some time now.
Good /Year stands for = Good for one year.

I either buy BF Goodrich or Michlin, Cooper makes a good tire as well they are limited on thier sizes tho.
Good luck
Chris
I guess in this case you DO NOT get what you pay for. Good/Year costs = BF Goodrich
Happy truckin
