Was just ready to order Velvet Ride for the 3500 dually when all this Roadmaster business hit the web. I do not have to deal with California highways - Live in Pa. Pull a 4000 lb. boat and will be pulling at least a 10,000 lb. trailer. For the next 1 1/2 years most of my driving will be unloaded. Which do I buy?

------------------
2001 Ram 3500 dually, 4:10, auto, SLT+,anti-spin,custom side paint, Custom pin striping,Advanced Thermal Products Sound Blanket Kit, Smittybar nerf step,Geno's stainless wheel well trim, tonneau cover, air dam, chrome monster tip, mud flaps/chrome tips,pyro-trans-boost gauges, Bosch 275 Injectors, Van Aaken.

I only have experience with the Velvet Rides and was disappointed with the results. I'm considering the Roadmasters but they will have to wait till the checkbook recovers from the exhaust brake.

Millfly,

Of course I'm biased, but if you read
Buckaroo2Bob's post on this forum, he tried
the Shackles and now runs the Active Susp.
The same is true of Roy at Mag-Hytec. They
both now recommend the Active Suspension. I
didn't know either of them prior, and now we
are friends, and see each other at TDR
meetings.

Also remember the product makes numerous
improvements to the rear suspension, not just
one thing.

Just sent a kit to a TDR member in Ringgold,
Pa. Incidently, I was born and raised in
Reading, Pa. and graduated from Williamsport
Tech. Been out here since 62. #ad

Hope you guys don't mind me chiming in but
I'm trying to get the facts out on what I
believe is a good product. #ad

In case anyone didn't see this, it's from the posting "Group purchase: Roadmaster Suspension System" ( https://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb//Forum3/HTML/001474.html ):

Sam & Dave's (Shade Tree Mechanic) new
show Crank & Chrome on TNN is showing the
installation of a kit.
Sat. 8/26/00 2:30 P. M. (Pacific time)
Sun. 8/27/00 9:30 A. M. & 5:30 P. M.
Sun. 9/24/00 9:30 A. M. & 2:00 & 5:30 P. M.

It might be an interesting show to watch.
Andy
