This is not a Comp vs. Smarty thread. This is Comp AND Smarty question, for those of you who have both!
As a low to non-smoker (preferably), one of the features I liked about the Comp (when I had one) was the low boost de-fueling of the sub-level settings. So I'm wondering, when a CaTCHER program is loaded in the ECM and a Comp is fooling it, who's in charge?
Specifically, will the Comp still de-fuel at low boost (sub-level 1) when the ECM is running a CaTCHER program? Does this just neuter the Smarty program? Or will the CaTCHER override the Comp making the sub-level meaningless? It just seems like these two "programs" are mutually exclusive.
If anyone here has played with that mix, or would like to experiment with it, I would like to know. I'm not asking which makes the most power, that's not the point of the exercise. Also, I prefer the non-wire tapped solution, but Comp main level on 1 makes that irrelevant for this discussion.
I know there a few of you who have the appropriate setup, so I'm hoping you can help answer the question.
Thanks,
Neil
