I am using the VA box now, and I'd like DD3's and the boost mod. Will these two work together and will my clutch be up to the punishment? Thanks for any help!

it is my understanding that the va and the injectors work good together. as far as your clutch it will need a little help from a clutch upgrade.

Too much smoke. DD2's max, DD1's are a good compromise. IMO.

I have DD1's + VA and can make pretty good smoke, but it runs great. Actually seems better every day. Sometimes I think I could have gone w/ 2's but would have to use alot of care driving it or youll poof out the person behind ya.

There were some pics posted a few months back of DD3's+VA, and a BIG smoke cloud coming out of the pipe. Was way too much.

VA, DD1's, PS Boost module & elbow, BD brake... also, Nitrous Oxide piped direct into the block (stealth - to keep the warranty), 10 gallon per minute fuel pump, ECM right out of Don Garlit's Top Fueler (he gave it to me) (for letting him ride in my truck), Super Modified DD1 Injectors ("Hand Honed" with a 1/4" reamer & my 12v Makita). :) More BOMBING to come. .

the VA will smoke the neighborhood with any injector upgrade. If you go with dd1's without the VA you will be very happy with the 50hp increase and no smoke.

..... and you'll be even happier with DD3s and their 100 BHP! You will need to lose the VA or I'll be able to see the smoke from here. #ad

Hellooooooo SMOKE!
A buddy of mine Paul (Traded V-10 for a Cummins) once tryed my old VA with his new DD3's this last summer. He really loved the power, but the smoke! He once made a car dissapear and reappear 100 ft. back #ad
. There are pics we took on the SETDR site www.sedtr.org just go to the past events page and you'll get a snootfull of smoke. Paul was trying to make smoke, but on the other side of the coin, the pics didn't do the smoke justice!

I dont think you would need the VA with DD3's, but yes it would work but I think it would have a tendancy to grossly over fuel at low boost

edit: yes you will need a clutch upgrade with any thing over the VA alone or 275's or DD1's alone.

Here is the smoke Joe was talking about:

That was with DD3's and an original VA, so I don't know if the new VA would be that bad or not. However, I am running the DD version of the EZ now, and smoke is nothing compared to that pic.
