Hydrogen Injection?

Hello to everyone,

I have a 55 gallon drum of a/w 32 hydraulic fluid that I no longer need. I want to burn it in the Ram listed below.

Would this be ok in a less then 5% blend? or even a 10% blend. I hate to toss out a small fortune in fluid that may help me offset the cost of diesel.

I also have a drum of 85w140 gear oil, can I burn it too?

Let me know

In my truck I'd burn it. But I have a 12 valve.

I'm sure you could long as you "cut it" enough with kero, diesel or gasoline first. You want the viscosity to be the same, or close to what diesel is.

Newer trucks are far more fragile (and expensive)than the old P7100 in the injection dept.

Here are the specs for the 32wt hydraulic oil, to me this looks ok:

Typical Properties

AW32

API Gravity @ 60° F

30. 4

Viscosity @ 40° C cSt

32. 5

Viscosity @ 100° C cSt

5. 2

Color

1. 5

Pour Point °F

-25

Flash Point - COC °F

390

Fire Point - COC °F

440

Oxidation Test ASTM D-943

to a 2. 0 Neut. , No. Hrs.

2500

It could cause problems, not saying that it will but weird things happen like certain things may drop out of the diesel/hyd oil under compression, different temperatures and pressures. It may from build up on your injectors in short terms.
