I have a regular cab, 3500 dually. I bought the truck mainly becuase of its price. (Don't fret, I'd only buy a Dodge-Cummins, it's the dually I could live without. ) I have always wondered how difficult it would be to convert it to a SRW. SRW would help me a bunch because I don't tow or haul at dually ratings but often have to sweat squeezing my truck through places my business takes me. Would I need an entirely different rear end? Are the dually fenders bolted to an otherwise normal bed? Any info or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I would consider trading with someone who wished to convert their SRW short-bed to a dually.
