Can I replace my 47RE w/ a 47RH?

I've got an 03 w/ the 47RE and was wondering if I can swap in a 47RH in place of it. I know that there are some key differences but I will have the 47RE to swap any parts over that I need to, if it makes a difference.

Try calling some of the transmission vendors here. Most will answer the phone and talk to you even if your questions are silly to them.

I think there are differences in the cases that allow for the electronic connections in the RE.

If you can figure out how to get around the electronics that will cause problems, yes its doable.
