As long as you get the 03 Track bar bracket, I dont see why not. . Im running the 03 TBK and the stock 03 track bar and am very satisfied w/it. Dont hear many 03-06 owners complaining about their bars wearing out.

Check out the tracbar Tim and AJ have also. Im not sure the name, but it has Hiem (SP?) joints on ea. end and is adjustable. Maybe they will be along to mention the name...

check out the Thuren track bar also a heim jointed bar. Don has excellent products and he is very helpful. I put his cross-over steering on. which gets rid of your tie rod ends, and gives you a heim jointed T style steering. web site is thurenbrication.com.

What does everyone think of Lukes Links? I think this would be cheaper and easier than changing to another track bar. I know of a few people running them with very good luck. I was wondering what the overall thought of these were.

Don't know of everyone elses experience but I've got them on everything but the trackbar. They are fine as tierod end replacements. Instead of putting Lukes Links on my trackbar I went with a third gen bracket and bar because I think the bar will last longer. Also, if you are considering lifiting your truck you can go with an adjustable 3rd Gen bar for more $$.

I look at the lukes link like a band aid, the joint is what is sloppy and wears. this is why I like spherical bearing ends. if you still have problems, than something to stiffen up the front would be ok.

His isn't heim jointed. It has a spherical bearing on the upper side and a stock type (but much stiffer) bushing on the axle end. Its 'thurenfabrication.com'.

I've had one for over a year and it works great; Don's a good guy.

Does anyone make one for a 2wd ?

I have a 96 , if that matters.

No. I think there is a bit of confusion happening here. Track bar is different from traction bars. Track bar is only on 4x4 trucks and is used to keep the front axle centered under the truck.

Another option of you want one with a heim joint is DT ProFab. I've had one on for about 3 years now and am happy with it. The heim joint is loose now after about 55k miles. Their rebuild kit comes with a new heim joint and rubber bushing. Only downside to the DT bar is that it will not work with a Mag Hytek diff cover on the front.

the factory 3rd gen bar is solid to start with. the olny diff is the ends. personally. . id rather have a little rubber in the system. unless u want to feel every bump in the road. and hear it as well... just makes things rattle ... . solid is good if your racing the truck... imo,, its overkill. .

Thats why Don puts a poly bushing on the axle end, but puts that ball type joint at the frame. Gives you best of both worlds, a little give at the axle end to take out some of the shock, but solid at the frame to give you a tight responsive steering. His stuff is great, and I love the HD crossover steering I have of his, now I just gotta save up for the t-bar.
