When i get on the throttle, i am all of a sudden hearing a wwwwwhooooosssshhhh noise under the hood. So i did a break stand in the yard with my kid, oh my god that was scarry, it sounds like its comming from the air cleaner, so i removed the cover on the air cleaner and had the kid do it again till the turbo kicked in hard, Dang, dont put your hand in there, sucks like crazy, so he let off fast and then it did a bo wo wo. almost sounded like a muffled jake brake. I repeated this several times. Stand on it hard then let off quick and sounds like a cough of air in the turbo. This has never happend EVER before. Any idea would help. p. s. all my clamps are tight!!! RRR

I concur........

Turbo bark. With my transmission and weight when I'm climbing a steep hill I sometimes get a bark just when the gears shift.

If you still have the stock box the whooshing sound could be that the tunnel to the fender got sucked in. It may be time to upgrade your air intake to a BHAF or one of the oiled cones.
