New Dodge Ram 2009 Model!

I found a new VE pump for an industrial engine I am building. The problem is it is tuned for 125HP, and I need 160 hp. The pump I found is Cummins P/N 3906459 Bosch P/N 0460 426 056. Can I just turn the screw on this pump or does it need new guts to get to 160 hp? I also assume it is a true industrial pump for steady speed operation.

Not sure how much power you can get out of it, but just about any mechanical pump has a "power" screw. Does yours have the AFC? Some industrial versions are set and governed at a certain rpm.

Welcome to the TDR, Eric.

Like we talked about last night - we can send just about any old pump to some nice folks in Ohio and get plenty of fuel out of 'er.

OR - install a new set of sticks with bigger holes in them... I'd almost opt for that option - see how she responds with bigger sticks and then crank the pump up if needed. With this method, at the most you'll have to adjust the idle... :)

Cheers,

Matt
