2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Can U put 03 calibers on a 98?

I had my truck up getting aligned at my local tire shop and he had an '03 with its right corner apart. I gave it a good look to see what the differences were. One of the last things that I noticed was that the '03 had a dual piston caliber.



Does any one know whether the '03 calibers will bolt up onto a '98? Are there other issues with the ABS programming?



The owner of the tire shop says that the '03's stop a lot better then other year RAM's. He should know, he test drives every car that he does work on.

I got a reply back from Glenn at ERG: He says NO. They use a different steering knuckle on the 03's. Bummer

My 01 with 4 wheel disc brakes have dual piston calipers up front. I'm not sure if they'll swap, but it's a idea.

Same thing as the 03's. The knuckles are different.
