Installed my PDR 4K GSK and #11 yesterday and was wondering if it is possible to buy just the the boot that goes on the bottom of the fuel solenoid because mine is in pretty sad shape? The solenoid is working fine and I know them da%$ things are about $260. 00. That's alot of money when all I need is the boot.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm learning more about these things every day, and the more I learn and do the more I love'em.

Thanks Again,

Brian Criste

My Solenoid has been missing the boot for about 2 years now. No problems. I think because it is pointing upwards, it stays clean & dry.

When I installed my 3000 gsks I too found my solenoid boot literally falling apart, so as an emergency fix I made a new boot out of a piece of bicycle tire tube. Been on there for over a month now no problems.

Piers advised me to replace the destroyed boot with a piece of panty hose and two tie wraps.

I haven't done it yet, but plan to. The theory is there, keep junk off the shaft. If nothing else, as much as the solenoid cost, it should look sexy. :-laf :-laf
