Did you see the little snot Canadian hockey player remove her SILVER medal right after its was placed around her neck? :{

The thought of what she needed was a GOOD BIXXH SLAP maybe its ok with someone else but thats a total show of disrespect for the Olympic Ideals.

And if the roles were reversed what would the Canadian's think if an American took off her medal? That's just poor sportsmanship in my book, especially in a public display.

The world holds Americans to a different standard. The news media including the US media would be in an uproar over this and everybody would be labeled an ugly American.
