It seems that there is a proposal from the Canadian Council of Motor Transportation Administrators (CCMTA) to develop regulation of raised vehicles. There must be some existing regulations as there are requests from various groups to clarify. Under a proposed policy all aftermarket raised vehicles will be subject to a raised vehicle inspection starting in January 1, 2011 in Saskatchewan. Regulators are considering a "Letter of Authorization" to operate these vehicles in the province to assure LEO's that the vehicle meets frame height limit at their roadside stops. Our brothers north probably know more about this and it might not be a big thing. Comments? If you don't know about it you might want to get info and get involved. Picked this up off SEMA legislative and tech affairs.
