Actually, if I read line #3 correctly, D. C. will move your warranty to the U. S. f/ Canada when the owner moves. It sounds like you just have to jump through the hoops they describe.

"3 DaimlerChrysler vehicle owners that relocate to the United States and bring their Canadian vehicle with them, must contact the DCCAR who will assist them in the process of coverage code revision to the applicable United States warranty coverage on their vehicle".

Prarie Dog,

That is right if you are a Canadian citizen! Those are the only exceptions if your Canadian traveling in the US or Canadian and relocate to the US.

However, it is aimmed to stop us from going to Canada and buying and from car dealers buying Canadian vehicles for resale in the US. Both of these senarios equal no warranty.

We have a dealer here that gets his vehicles from BC, Canada thru Washington and shipped here for resale to the US. These will have no warranty.
