What are the solutions for this? I gave the alignment tech at the shop I use the alignment specs everyone here uses for their 4x4 Ram CTDs and the farthest he could get it was to 0. I still have a slight pull to the right.

This truck is my '01. 5 and has had the Mopar supplied rear-end lowering kit installed for pulling my 5ver level.

4x4 specs on a 2wd...

You ought to find a better alignment guy.

No, if you will note my signature, I was referring to my 3500 fwd '01. Perhaps you read the wrong part of my sig. These are the fwd alignment specs posted on this forum and elsewhere that I used:

Left Wheel Right Wheel

-------------- ----------------

Caster 3. 2 3. 5

Cross Caster -. 3

Camber -. 10 -. 10

Cross Camber 0. 0

I'm not any kind of expert, but from reading lots of post, I think it often takes aftermarket upper ball joints with either a predetermined amount of caster built in, or it allows for more adjustment.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out, I've got a annoying pull to the right myself. Dang Republicans.

Thanx for the tip, Moparguy. I was getting info from elsewhere about adjustable upper ball joints made by Specialty Products. I called Specialty Products and they told me their adj. ball joints allow for both caster and camber adjustments.

After your post I did a TDR search on adjustable ball joints and found some good info on the matter. There is another manufacturer of adjustable ball joints for our Rams made by Ingalls Engineering, however the Ingalls units appear to be nearly twice as much and may not adjust as far as the Specialty Product's adj. ball joints. I plan to call Ingalls Engineering today and find out more. I will post my results when I get some.

Thanx again.

I just got off the phone with Todd at Engalls Engineering. He advised me that the adj. ball joint for the 2000 - 2002 y. m. 4x4 Rams (part # 61500) is out of stock and they won't have any for another 4 to 5 months. It looks like it will be the Specialty Products adj. ball joints for now, unless someone has a better suggestion.
