With that much weight on the front end, what does it do to the rear wheels? Do you put extra weight in the bed?



I am very ignorant when it comes to winter sports... . You can see I am from the south.



At least you don't have to worry about someone backing into the front of your truck.

no problems...

extra weight actually does little to the rear end, besides, i am usually carrying at least 800-900lbs of salt in the hopper which counterbalances everything.

What color is that thing supposed to be?



Mine turned that color last month when we went up to the mountains. The good thing down here is that since we don't need it often, we use sand instead of salt.

Road Salt

Oh, wow - you got the Road Grime option too? I thought I was the only one. I don't need to carry 800 pounds of salt in the back - I wear it spread all over the paint! :{

Mine looks like that, too. I believe in keeping a winter protective layer of dirt on mine. It hardens and protects the paint. I'm serious, I had an older truck that I paid to have buffed and cleaned and it looked brand new. Three years later I washed it again and it still looked new!

Isn't black great. So easy to take care of and clean. I had a black car once and will never buy a black vehicle again. Washed it every day and waxed it every other. From now on its nothing but white for me. Happy trails keeping that beast clean!
