I know I got a lot more milage than most but I was hoping for more.

First rebuild for this transmission. And yes it is the original trans for the truck.

I dropped it off monday afternoon. The shop called today and said there was no breakage just high milage wear found. I hope to get her back before friday night.

281,000 from an automatic??? I got 35,000!! I just hope your rebuild lasts another 281,000. Actually, to be fair, my trans was fine, but my converter was shot.

transmission milage

I got 93k out of mine then ''chipped'' the truck and within 300 miles the TC started slipping. You are very lucky and I suspect you don't tow much with performance goodies. I knew when the truck was new that it was detuned because of the 47re transmission not being up to the torque potential of the 24 valve. Shame on Dodge for the detune and not spending a few hundred it would have taken to do it right.

544,000kms (or 325,000k ) on mine never had any problems . Fluid changes at 30,000k and several band adjustments. Truck is stock no power increase. Has original vp-44 and injectors.

Wow i'm jealous of you FourBarR. i fell short on the miles and VP's.

I actually pull a 18' trailer loaded with my mowers as i run a lawn care business.

My normal gross weight is 10,500 lbs.
