Can't connect to TDR at night

Steve, I still can't connect to the site at early evening to late at night. I have even tried to connect at 12:30am PST with no luck. I can connect to other sites,Ford ,E-mail, ect. Is there anything wrong at the site? Chris

I haven't heard of any problems from anyone else. You might try doing a tracert and post the results here. Assuming you're running windows you just go to start/run and then type "tracert www.turbodieselregister.com" That will connect to the site and show you all the hops your machine is going through to get there and how long it takes on each one. You may find that there is a problem on the net backbone between you and the server.

Mebbe there is a problem with the headlight switch on your computer- might be a TSB on it.

I tried what Steve said to do but I can't get it to work. I get so frustrated with computers that I have to sometimes walk away or "IT" is going to get hurt!! Steve, I tried to do the start run thing that you said but my computer didn't find that file. Do I word it all together or what. Our computer is a new high end Gateway. Any help appreciated Chris

If it's a new Gateway, I assume it's Windows XP?



If so, click Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt.



Type



tracert www.turbodieselregister.com



It should work. If it's not Windows XP, but an earlier version, the method is quite similar.



The method Steve gave works as well, except the command prompt window will likely close as soon as the command finishes.
