2004 won't acceelerate

Site feature wont pull down?????

My guess would be that your PC is loading the search results page from your cache or you have some internet speedup software that's doing the same thing. You might try clearing your cache and see what happens. I just did a search on your username and came up with both this post and the fuel mileage miracle post.

Steve I haven't done anything different

I use Webroot Window Washer Daily... ... I thought it scrubbed everything..... now I'n no IT Guy so what exactly do I have to do to Clean the Cache... do you mean Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History???? I have the Highest Speed Comcast - but nothing else loaded that I'm aware of... ... ... ...

lost posts

I'm having the same problem. Last three posts don't show-up when I search under my sig, have to look under thread title to find. I'd like to know if there is some way to move these to the same old location. As far as I know I haven't changed any settings.

No, tools->internet options->delete files. That will clear out your cache. It's remotely possible that Comcast has put a cache on their servers but I doubt it. If clearing out the cache doesn't work try contacting their support department and see if they are doing anything along those lines. You haven't installed any new internet tool software packages recently?

What do you mean by searching under your sig? Do you mean going to the search screen and typing your name in the username box?

Try it now guys. I was able to replicate it on Ponz's posts. If I searched on Ponz in the username field it didn't come up with his recent posts and then I noticed it said something along the lines of "search generated 8746 seconds ago" so it was loading an old search. I wiped out the table that had the searched stored in it. Let me know if you have more problems.

Thanks Steve

Yes, the search under username now works like it used to. All of the previous posts showed-up !!! Thank-you

Ponz

I'm working on it. I installed an upgrade to vB for bug fixes a couple weeks ago and this must have caused this problem. I have a support ticket in for it.

I was able to replicate the problem on the vBulletin site as well. They've suggested a setting change which I've implemented. Let me know how it's working now.

This should be fixed now. I found an error in the cleanup code. It wasn't clearing out the search results table ever so if you did the exact search you had done last week it would return the same results. It's supposed to clear that file out each hour and remove anything older than an hour - it should be doing that now. Let me know if you have any further problems with it.
