I've been running Wild Country TXR's sold by Les Shaub since I bought my truck. They seem to wear well, I have 14K miles on them and can hardly tell. They go good in the snow and grip good on ice. Of course i don't get to drive over 55 here so this may all go out the window at freeway speeds. I know what my jeep is getting when it needs tires though.

BF Goodrich

I've been running BF Goodrich 285's on mine. Almost 14k miles and they still have tons of tread left. Give em a try.

I have BFG Commercials on the front and Cooper Discovers on the back with about 35,000 miles on them. Then fronts are only about half wornOo. , and the back will need to be replaced in about a month:mad:

 I have the Michelin's that came stock on my 4 X 4 3500 and I have about 49,000 on them with about 1/4 tread left. What am I doing wrong?

BFG 285/75 all terrains! There is absolutely no comparison to these tires. Great smooth (noiseless) ride and sidewall strength and handling. I have 70,000 miles on them, 100's of burnouts, dozens of 1/4mi trips at the track, countless dyno runs, and they still get incredible traction in unplowed snow. They have enough tread to make it 80,000 miles. I've been so impressed how well they have taken my high horsepower and good tread wear, I'll definitely be buying them again.
