Who said beware of the bombing bug? Because now I have to install injectors:D I have heard that the ETH do better with injectors compared to a box. If this is true, should I go with bigger injectors and turn the box way down or just remove it? If I could get some recommendation on injectors. I have been kicking around Bullydogs stage II's. What do you think?

I would like to do that but I read a post warning about the boxs tweaking the timing as to cause compression issues on the ETH's. Not sure if there is any truth to this statement.

I wouldn't worry about it;)

There are tons of people out there running both, with no problems.

Lemme know if how it goes. I have the same setup as you and wanted to add injectors on top of a box but heard of potential problems... ... Don't want to compound it if I should just go with bigger injectors.

I'm running a comp in ez mode and dd2's. I had the box in before the injectors and hadn't run the truck without the box on for a while before I put the injectors in, so when I put the dd2's in they didn't impress me much because I turned the box off at first and forgot what stock power felt like. Then I turned it on. WOW! what a difference!

I feel like to get the most out of the injectors, you need a box to go with it. If you are concerned about too much timing Diesel Dynamics is selling a comp and ez without such aggressive timing. Not sure what the other boxes are like.

I'm running the edge comp and no problems yet but when I'm towing that cummins is hammering pretty hard. I'd like to try DD's UFM but probably won't unless something happens to the comp.

II's are nice in an ETH. Just remember that you will always want the biggest you can get without sacrificing driveability. I rarely tow, so I wish I had gone bigger. Get what you want the first time.

I also vote for the EDM's. I organized the EDM group buy earlier this month and ordered a set of 2. 5's for my truck. Well, last night I sold my truck. As soon as the check clears and I'm sure the deal is permanent, I will be selling my EDM's... so someone won't have to wait the full time... I could probably just have them shipped from Don straight to the buyer. Anyways, with EDM's you'll get more low end torque with the same HP rated injector (DD3 vs. Mach2). Basically since they atomize the fuel better, they cause the fuel to burn more efficiently. Efficiency is good. :D
