TDR Admin,

Just thought I would bring to your attention that I can't post from my Galaxy 7 Android. Seems its been a few days. I log in fine, but at the bottom of a thread, the field where you would type a response or new post is gone. I appreciate you taking a look.

Thank you, Ron

We've had reports of this, on and off, for a week. I suspect it's a problem with the content delivery network we use, but it's taking quite a bit of effort to nail it down. I'll follow up later today with what I find.

Thanks both... not aware of any updates and still using Google as always. Very interesting problem. I received email notification on my phone, logged in fine, but site doesn't display posting field. Do y'all think its a cookie thing? If you're not a member, does the posting field display. Just curious as I do about 90% of my TDR posting from my not so Smartphone.

Thanks, Ron

Friends,

Thanks for the fast response and sorry for the inconvenience... my security app apparently updated and tightened settings... I just went in and gave Google permissions again.

I'm posting from my phone as proof.

Cheers, Ron

If you don't mind telling, which security app are you using? Since we've had more than one report of this exact issue since this past Thursday, if someone else brings it up I'd like to be able rule out that it's not the same cause.

Thanks!

Norton Mobile Security with Web Protection turned on. I went into Apps for Android settings re enabled it. Hope that helps someone else.

Cheers, Ron

Ron; I am not a big fan of any product by Norton they seem to be a memory hog on any computer system! I was told by our IT guys at Cat (when I worked) that McAfee was the best system for anti-virus and support for your PC., plus it is not a memory hog. I have been using McAfee for almost 25 years now for my virus protection and maintaining the PC health on my computer. I have been using McAfee Livesave now. This works on both of our I-pads, my wife's and my I-phone, plus our Dell PC with windows.
