I've wanted one of these trucks for almost 12 years. I've had diesel oldsmobiles, diesel ford escorts, a F250 with the 6. 9 diesel, jap diesels...
Anyway, on my way to the doctor's office I had to take a detour - the orange barrels are out again
Parked on someone's front lawn was a 3/4 ton, 2WD, 5-speed Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel. Rough looking work truck, but only $2200.
Starts and runs good, but smokes a bit when cold (smells like the timing's retarded a bit?). Has new injectors, 16cm turbo housing.
The grid heater relay has a pushbutton hooked up to it, and the speedometer doesn't work. Hopefully these are easy fixes.
It should be more fun to drive than the old Buick
