car hauling rates

Could anyone give me an idea what the going rate is for hauling cars, so three vehicles on a three car hauler, loaded, rates per mile. Just approximate. I realize the will vary from area to area, but just wanted an idea. thank. s

I would say 3 cars on a 3 car hauler you should get $1. 00-$1. 50 per loaded mile.

Not yet I am trying to get insurance... It is VERY hard having no prior professional hauling experience and being 23 years old.

used to get 125. 00 per car from detroit to zanesville which is a little low for a three car but we brought in around 30-40 cars a week. when you are doing your prices make the dealers keep in mind that they will get the cars quicker because the big trucks will set and wait till they get a full load and may not all be going to same area or state. you will be more like a hotshot setup and prices should be a little higher but we started with that rate to get business. hope this helps...
