CARB Approved Boxes?

We do several trips per year to California where our kids still live and was just wondering:



Which performance enhancing boxes/modules have been approved by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)?



AND;



which one's COULD be approved if they were operated on the lower fueling/timing curves.

TST PowerMax 3 is CARB approved, and their number is on the CARB website, I was told.

Other boxes may be within CARB requirements, but you don't know until they pass the test. If you are worried about being stopped in a random check, nothing beats that CARB number when dealing with CARB. Note that the TST box was tested and approved with stock injectors, not RV injectors, etc.

The VA box carries CARB Cert. # 500.

Not sure about the rest.

It's my understanding, you only have to meet federal. Your truck is not licenced in CA.

Thank you gentlemen for the information. I am considering a box that is CARB approved and doesn't require connection directly to the VP pump connector or a pump wire.



I am more interested in MPG than HP since the truck has plenty of power for my small 5th wheel.
