Has anyone used this product? It is made by Davis Instruments Corp. It's a OBD II date logger. Here is a Brochure.

I called the company and they said it is compatible with the Dodge diesel trucks, but does not monitor everything on diesel engine.

Looks kind of neat for $139. :D I could find out when I am speeding and for how long.

Any feed back? Am I missing anything?

If you have a handheld or a laptop, you might want to look at Autologic or Ease. You can view live data as you drive, set up your own screens, etc. In other words you can see what you're doing, not what you did. The Autologic is $199. 95 on mobileplanet.com. The Ease is more expensive, but also more powerful. Good luck. Jim

We have Drive rights at work. They are not the ODB2 type, they have there own speed sensor and a accelerometers in them. They record speed, breaking force and acceleration force. They are used to track our driving habits. I am not that fond of them, but they do serve a purpose and work well. I think an odb2 version would be much better than the ones we have as our speed sensors are just magnets glued to the drive shaft and a counter.

I think I will get one of the ones you are looking at. It would be a good tool to use when the boy gets his license.
