Cargo Box for 2003 Quad Cab Short Bed?

Both my left and right rear fenders have major rust and need to be replaced. My tail gate has been beat up pretty bad so I want to replace the whole thing and repaint the entire truck. I can not tell what year and model trucks have the same cargo box as a 2003 2500
4X4 short bed. When I look for the parts on line it appears they seem to group all of the 2002 to 2008 rear body parts together without differentiating between the 1500 and the 2500 or 2x4 and 4x4. Is this correct? If I can use a bed from a 2008 I am going to have an
easier time finding a used bed that is rust free.

03-09 are all 3rd gen. mega cab box is same as short bed. the 1500's started in 02.
So yes 02-09 shortbed or mega cab bed.
