Hello all, I am trying to get some info/thoughts on the new 2-3" pin top lift that Carli is working on for the 2019 2500 (Still shows as being under R & D on there site), does anyone have any experience with Carli... durability, maintain good on road handling, mild off-road trail handling etc.? Or is there any recommendations.
Also will the 2-3" kit clear a 37x13.50 on a new 19' Ram body? if not how much butchering would be needed.

I had a pintop kit on my 01 and it was excellent (I realize not even close to a 19) It's on and offroad manners were better. Especially out in the boonies on bad roads. There is a road that I am on occasionally out in Utah. It is the Hole in the Rock road outside of Escalante. It is about 70 miles of varying degrees of washboard the farther you go the worse it gets. In my 01 oem suspension 35 mph was really too much speed due to the washboarding and some of it is pretty severe. With the pintop kit I could go 70mph with no problem. With the pintop kit you are getting into the realm of speed to make it work at its best so that it can push through the valving of the shocks. Don't get me wrong it is still great at regular on road and slower offroad speeds but to see it really shine and what it can do speed is what it takes. I would call Carli Suspension and talk with them. Later on I added set of their rear progressive leafs that really helped it shine in ride quality as well but after we got our fifth wheel I had to take them off as they just don't have the weight capacity for it but the ride without the trailer was very good with them.

Another place to look at that has high quality suspension is Thuren Fabrication they also have great stuff so they would be worth a call as well.

It is amazing what a well tuned suspension can do with properly valved shocks. It is also amazing what some of those nice 2", 2.5" and 3" shocks can cost especially with all the bells and whistles. However do not expect lexus ride quality. I have heard several times well it still rides like a truck, well it is a truck and rides like a very nice truck but it is not lexus ride quality.

Thuren and Carli, both are Top notch.
I use parts from both, always the one that fits me better.
Carli is maybe a tick more into high speed racing whereas at Thuren you get the one that fits your driving style best, even slow going.
And I like the simplicity of Thuren, for example the Swaybar, all welded at Thuren, screwed together at Carli - which will withstand the beating better in the long run?

Awesome info, thank you very much for the input, does anyone have any recommendation for an installer. I'm in So. Cal. but I would rather stay away from ORW, not been very happy with there work as of lately, I noticed Carli is located in Elsinore do they do installations or only through retailers? I've heard of thuren, but I am also more familiar with Kore as well. I will continue the research thanks for the help guys. I will repost when I have an update.

CJC Offroad does installations. Huntington Beach
I use NTG Racing in Santee. Joe and Pablo do good work.
Carli refers installs to them.

CJC or NTG are the only 2 shops I would use down there, CJC is Carlis biggest dealer and installer by far and have a ton of experience with there products. Both of those shops also sell and install Thuren so I would contact them directly and talk with them about your needs.

Wow I havent heard of Kore in years, about as long as Lorenz!

I've got the Kore VR's. They work well with my 2000# popup mounted. Dismounted I can feel every crack in the road.
