When installing the Carli sway bar, the top bolt / nut attaching the adjustable end links to the sway bar arm don't thread on all the way enough to create a tight clamp on the sway bar arm. It leaves a loose coupling between the adjustable end links and the sway bar arm that can't be correct. Yet, the nut comes to a complete stop mid-way down the bolt threads and gets so tight I fear stripping the threads.

It seems as if something is wrong with the parts? The end link nuts look like lock nuts, but they are so tight they won't tighten down completely.

Anyone else with the Carli sway experience this issue?

Thanks,

What is stopping the bolt from tightening all the way down? Is the bolt too long? Are the links the same thickness as the oem ones?

It behaves as if the lock nut is too tight. The nut will not thread all the way down and stops mid-way down the bolt. The bolt is not too long. I am calling Carli in the morning.

The links are thicker than the OEM. All the parts appear to be correct, just that the nut on both sides will not thread all the way down. I added some washers in the meantime, but don't want to stay with that backyard fix.
