Has anyone tried this carMD; it's supposed to plug into the computer of any vehicle and give you info if there's anything wrong with the vehicle? I was thinking of buying one but I wanted to get input first. :)
 
From what I can find out about it, it is a code reader. You read the codes, plug it into your computer and it connects to a web site that gives you a best guess of how to fix it among other things, like approximate cost etc. In my opinion you have what you need with a code reader and TDR... .....
 
I used it for my '96 Chevy. It works,go online with the code and they let you know what the issue may be,what it costs to have it fixed by a shop. They will give you labor hrs and if I remember right the retail cost of the part. Its been a couple yrs since I used it,its collecting dust in the garage.
