1st Time 5th Wheeler - What to look for

Would you consider this overloaded?

found out to day,i guess they closed 3 or 4 weeks ago. so much for the part i need. some one please tell me why they make rv's on one side of the good old usa,and pay to have them shipped at least 2000 miles from the plant. why not texas or arizona. that way cutt down on the cost, dont tell me cheaper labor or better workers. on my fourth 5th,i had to redo most.

barry i need the light lens for over kithen sink. thank their all the same size. californa roads or hard on rvs, would like more than one. thank you

I know that on 2 of the Carriage forums they are compiling vendors list for parts Carriage owners might need. I can provide the links if you'd like. Di

#1 is the Carriage Travel Club. You have to be a member to get into the site but they are starting a section called "Vendors/Repair Facilities" It is a yearly fee of $30. 00

https://ctci.clubexpress.com/content.aspx

#2 is a Carriage Owners Forum. Search "vendors". They too say a list of vendors for Carriage parts and services is in the works.

Carriage 5th Wheel Owners Forum - Index

#3 is the Original Carriage forum. There is talk on there about the same problems Carriage owners are facing.

Carriage_RV : Cabo/Cameo/Domani/CarriLite/Royals

Hope this helps. Di

I have two thoughts:

1) Unless that is a Carriage made light, it should be available from a supplier.

2) If you will Google: RV Salvage and/or RV Surplus Parts, you will get 2 or 3 pages of listings. There are warehouses in Indiana full of left over and discontinued parts... .....

Good luck!
