cat mobile delvac synthetic oil

cat dealers sell a 5w40 synthetic oil msds says made by mobile/exxon full synthetic for 14. 95 part #1413339 just go to any cat dealer and they'll either have it or will order it. seems like a good price. ron

The CAT DEO 5w40 is relabeled Mobil Delvac 1. At $14. 95 a gallon that is a steal. My local CAT dealer sells it for $21 a gallon which is about the going price.

I had the spec sheets for it and Delvac 1 and the Delvac 1 looked a little better on paper but I don't remember why. THis was 2-3 years ago. Should still be a top-shelf oil though.

CAT DEO is in fact relabeled D1. However I heard current stock of DEO may be the CH-4 version of D1, as D1 was recently reformulated to meet the new spec. Either one will be a terrific oil. If I could get DEO at $14. 95 I'd be STOCKING UP my friend =]
