Cat test pipe

Hi, Iam looking for the part no. for the cat test pipe. I want to remove the cat but can't afford a new exhaust yet. Thanks.

I just got one from the dealer. P/n 52019170-AB. Cost $38+change on shop account. List is $53-something. Took a couple of days to get in. I also got a Walker #21471 Muffler to go with it. The above in combo is exact length of original equipment but muffler outlet is 4" versus 3. 5" stock outlet. Also had to remove old hanger from original muffler and MIG it to new muffler to be able to use the original rubber hanger parts.



If I could do it over I would get a 4" system from turbo to tailpipe instead of piecing it together. However, at least in my world, cost is ALWAYS a consideration so that alternative will have to wait.

The parts crew here never saw one of these babies All it showed in their system was "Pipe". He said "What the heck is that for?". I told him it's a Dodge Cat test pipe. Big from all the rest of the parts crew.



The muffler shop did it, cash only, no receipt.

I went by a muffler shop and asked for a 37 inch long 3 " pipe, flared on one end. Cost $12.

Thanks for the replys. I will try one of the local muffler shops first, but I had heard that some wouldn't make them up if they knew what it was for. If not then I will go to the dealer for one. David
