Catalyst full message...with deletes???

I returned the truck to the dealer who sold it to my father in law. He refunded the entire purchase price minus wear and tear.

I did not like the idea of me not being able to legally sell the truck since it was "tampered" with.

Note to deleters... keep all your parts, you may need to re-install them. If you sell a deleted truck, INCLUDE THE PARTS.

You did a wise thing. The dealer knew his dealer license and financial resources were hanging in the wind or he wouldn't have rolled over so easy. Congratulations.

The smarty does not download the truck's firmware. It comes with the latest firmware already on it. As new stock firmwares are released, the website gets updated and they can be downloaded.
Which means you should be able to buy a smarty and program the truck to any SW level or stock. You would need to download the ME (Middle East) version of the smarty downloads from here: http://madselectronics.com/download.html to handle the DPF delete. Either the Smarty S-67ME or the Smarty J-67ME
