I remember there was some speculation that the increased throttle responce with Marco's marvel might cause problems on slick roads. I've driven my share of sleet ice & compacted snow now & I'm not having any control problems, but then I keep my foot out of it on the glaze 'cuz it's oh so easy to break 'em loose  leaning on it just a little.

HMMMM, never thought of that!!!! Guess I'll have to be careful once I get mine installed!!! Or I'll leave it in the garage and drive the PT Cruiser!! :D

And I can tell you that if you break the rear end loose on ice, the engine does not slow down very fast to correct the problem. I have experience with this condition in both my old 93 at slow speed and the 2001. 5 at hiway speed. Just west of Cle Elum, Wa we get black ice once in a while, was doing about 50 with snowmobile trailer when the rear end start going (another down side of LSD). Told the VW Bug under the hood to quit turning by removing my 12. 5 shoe from the throttle, and was able to save it. I now run 4 studded tires in the winter.

I chose a COMP in the EZ mode so I can turn it off in the snow. Catcher sounds like fun Marco, but everything has its place. SNOKING
