Hey guys,

Whats going on over here? The first gen group is really closing the posting gap!

Mark, things are slow over here in 12 valve land, think it's because our trucks have the least number of problems and most have been long since bombed. About the only thing left to talk about is cat removal.

!!! AND PROUD OF MY 12 VALVES !!!

illflem:

You are right about our 12 valves being
pretty troublefree. Although we may be
"overvalved", the 12 valve engine and
P7100 pump are reliable.

John, you got that right. It blows my mind sometimes when I realize how few problems I've had with my two 12 valves, with over 200,000 combined miles on them. Tell the truth though I'd rather have a first gen than a 24 valve, those guys really have the problems it seems.

I was talking to an 80 year old ex-mechanic yesterday,he was citing example after example of models from all the big three that started as problematic dogs in their early models to become excellent rigs, then they get canned. Seems they don't want us to have anything too good, afraid we might not buy another one.
