Caterpillar transmission ?

Hey guys, I have a 931C track loader. There is two allen headed bolts about midways in the transmission case. What do they fasten to in side the trans? If you tighten one bolt, it also tightens up the other bolt as well. Any way one of the bolts is broke off inside. Will I have to drop the transmission to drill out the bolt or is there a trick to this?

do you have a parts manual on this machine?
It should show you a break down of the whole trans so you can see what that does. Call your local cat dealer and talk to the parts guys or the service forman they could probably tell you from memory what it is and if there is any tricks.
