Read in the newspaper today that Daimler and Caterpillar had sign a deal for intermediate truck engines. Does this not include us. I thought everyone was saying
Mercedes was the one.
Any body know if this is so?

I think we are called light duty , Intermediates start about 26,000 GCVW.

We are the only ones at this weight class with a Medium-heavy duty engine. The T444E is a Light-heavy duty engine. I'd love to see a second diesel option in these trucks to make them even more like the over-the-road trucks.
