I just installed the Solid Steel track bar and because of my lift my axle is offset by about a 1/2 inch. I am now getting bump steer, which I did not have with the skyjacker bracket and factory track bar. Could my axle being offset be causing my bump steer? I am going to weld in an extension in the '03 track bar, just curious if this would solve my problem.

The Skyjacker bracket lowered your trackbar to keep it in line with the draglink. Now that you removed it, the angle of the trackbar and draglink are different. As the suspension moves up and down, they move in a different radius.

Only cure, since you have the trackbar back in factory position, would be to put the factory pitman arm back on.

Would eliminate bump steer, but probably would not handle very well due to increased angles.
