Just came across this on the "Dodge Cummins Forum", https://www.cumminsforum.com/thread...e-now-prohibited-read-before-posting.2579441/
I think that this may be something to consider as it may affect the forum in general. TDR could be presented with legal paperwork to reveal users that may be posting about to enforce the EPA Clean Air Act. Heed the warning signs that are becoming more frequent as time marches on. Proceed at your own peril, but let's not ruin TDR for the rest of us. Just my .02.

I like to think that it's common sense if you post or allow a how to guide for deletes your leaving your self open. Highly doubt any site will not provide all information they have on you when presented an offical legal inquiry. I would not cave to just an email from some lawyer, it should be a properly filled out document.

Same goes for knowingly data storage of manuals for how to do that, knowingly file sharing links.

If it's in say a private folder that you provide space to someone, you are probably in the clear.

At some level yeah it's a huge overreach and they are out of control on this whole deal.

The way I handle it is to take the "D" discussions off board so any indepth discussion or file sharing is not part of the forum record.

Yeah, Cummins Forum garnered a bit of attention and they had to crack down on it and pretty much closed the discussions.

Sad, but since forums are business ventures the need to protect their investments.

@xcc_rider, That would be the best way to handle those discussions. With all that's changing with the "D" issue, just wanted to bring attention to what was happening on another forum when searching for some info. It's a your money, truck and choice! Let's not have TDR to be forced to make a business decision that would end this forum. Just wanted to warn all of what's taking place.

All it takes is one FOOL to ruin it for everyone. I was coming back from Fla back in March and this guy passes me. Every time he’d hit the throttle there was a HUGE puff of black smoke. Huge like it lasted for over half a mile at 70 mph. It was a 4.5 gen RAM with nothing after the turbo, loud. And running a crazy tune. Last week a guy with a GMC in My the same thing. Both of these guys had stickers in their rear windows that said in large letters “Black Smoke Don’t Mean It’s Broke”.
These fools are the very people that will kill Diesel’s for all of us. I’m not happy about the emissions system on our trucks but they work very well. A bit of a pain to keep up at times but if that is what the factory has to do to “Meet the current Rules “ in order to keep a diesel under my hood I’ll happily live with it. It’s time Us law abiding citizens take a stand against these fools. Just saying…

The old saying that; "the few, ruin it for the many", holds so very true! Got a buddy that lives in FLA and he says he sees that every day!
