I've been searching for a while now as to the cause of a bucking/miss I've had w/my TST comp fueling box. I checked everything I could think of and others have offered advice still to no avail. :{ the scenario is that when the moisture in the air is over 70% the truck bucks, but only when the box is on. To make a potentially long story short, when I hooked up my FASS ,I took out the PRIMELOC set up that was in there. In doing so my "water in fuel" sensor was unplugged and left dangling( I didn't need it). I recently washed the undercarriage and the check light came on ,"water in fuel" hmmm... so I cleaned, greased(elec type),and wrapped the plug in electric tape. Reset codes w/SMARTY and... BUCKING GONE!!!:D:D:D I drove it in the rain yesterday(sideways!) Wheee! hope this helps other poor schleps like me out there!

Don't depend on the electrical tape (vinyl tape) to keep water out. If it's inside the connector could try dielectric grease.

the sensor plugs into the filter housing without the housing ,no plug! ... yep its full of di-grease wrapped in tape!

If I remember correctly, the fitting/sensor is threaded. I installed my FASS about 4 (maybe 5) years ago, and I had a similar problem (the WIF light would come on in the rain).

I took the sensor, and a 1/4" NTP coupler, and 1/4" NTP plug. I threaded all this together using pipe sealant (I also packed the sensor in Di-electric grease), then cable-tied it to something in the Engine compartment (most likely the 1/2" fuel line, but again I can not remember). I have never had the WIF light come on since then.
