Firestik stake mounts. They mount the antennas off to the side leaving room for a topper or whatever over the box. You'd have to route the coax differently than I did but that's just a trivial change. Look here -> http://rebby.com/?page=ram&detail=ramantennas
I followed the example set by Big MAK and used the firestik offset stake pocket mounts. I also used Firestik's "FireRing" coax, for a cleaner installation of the coax. The coax exits at a 90-degree angle from the connector.
Here's the mount with the topper off. I have a double-bulb seal on the bottom of the topper, so it can seal over the mount and coax. (this pic shows off the color-matched Rhino-Lining, too )
I mounted mine on the front fender opposite the radio antennae with a firestik mount, coax, and ant. If you lift the hood you will see a bolt the the fender mount will fit under, and then run the coax down between the fender and door in thru the unsused grommet in the door frame.
Has anyone tried the inline splitter for your radio antenna so you can use the antenna for the cb and radio from www.jcw.com . If you have does it work o. k.
I'd be surprised if it would--it's not much of an offset. If you have the width measurement of the camper you're interested in, I can go out and measure between my antennas.
In any case, you wouldn't get the height you'd need to get a good signal. Maybe you could use these (or some other) mounts with a quick disconnect, and leave enough slack in your coax to relocate your antenna up higher on the camper when it's on.
long ago and it was fine for a "close" caravaning adventure but was only gud for rcv after about 4 car (yes - car) lengths. Might be better units now and may also have resolved the problems. Would be nice to not have to mount another ant - butt then agn... .
