CB Interference from Optix Pyrometer

[Big MAK]

When I key my CB the Pyrometer reads zero and I get lot's of interference.



It isn' how it's wired; the CB has an independent ground and is wired thru a painless wiring fuse panel. I've also plugged it into the cig lighter for a completely different wiring scheme and it does the exact same thing.



?????



I've had problems with significant amounts of EMF from Optix gauges before...



Any ideas?

does your CB have a good ground?

Do you have a linear?

Are both ends of the ant. cable grounded right?
