CB shop near Houston, TX

I have a new Uniden PC78Elite I'd like to get tuned & peaked, any reputable shops near Houston? or instructions for how to do it?

Most modern solid state amplifiers do not have provisions for tuning/peaking. They are designed to work into a 50 ohm load/antenna.

If it the antenna you want tuned, an indicator called a standing wave ratio bridge (SWR) meter is all you need. If the antenna is tunable, you simply adjust for minimum SWR indication. Perhaps you can burrow one (find a ham somewhere)

I've not had any first hand dealings with 'em, but there's one at exit 785, big green building at the stop sign. Nice chrome shop too. Exit 789 I think is one behind the Baytown Express truck stop.
