CC vs PU cab axle lengths?

how much longer is the C/A length of a CC versus a longbed P/U?

I heard that the cab axle length is longer than a pickup's cab axle length, how much longer?

You need to go to the Dodge web sight to get this answer... there are a set of specific wheel bases available for each of the 3500, 4500, 5500 C&C in each Cab configuration... Do you want a 2WD, 4WD, regular cab? quad cab? 3500?, 4500? 5500?

My new 5500 is a standard cab 2WD with about 13 ft from the back of the cab to the end of the frame rails...

The web sight has the back of cab to end of frame rail dimension. .

I can't give you the actual numbers off the top of my head but the difference is about 2" longer for the C&C on the 3500 QC, with the 8' bed (example).

The width of the frame rails is different also. I don't know how much it would matter but the frame rails behind the cab on a cab and chassis are straight or flat while the rails on a pickup are not.



I suspect it will me more than just a simple drop on to fit a pickup bed to a cab and chassis if that is what you are thinking.
