2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission CD Player ?

As soon as my truck gets out of the shop i am taking the tape player out and putting in a factory CD-Tape player. I was wondering how and where to grab hold of the black plastic around the dash to remove it. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've taken my off a few times now. I grabbed the black molding with my hands and gently pulled it straight out. Initially, you may want to pry it out in one area just so you can get your fingers in there. Otherwise, once you have it started, you're good to go. Just take it easy...

I tilted my steering wheel all the way down, as this helped to get the molding away from the dash once completely unclipped. A nice warm day helps... . don't like prying on plastic when its cold
