I ordered a CD service manual for my 5. 9L 2007 Dodge 1-ton. The CD arrived but I can't open it. I work on a Mac ... when I ordered the disk I didn't see anything that said it wouldn't work on a Mac.

The clickable link to open the viewer on the CD did not work ... so I downloaded Adobe SVG viewer ... it didn't work either. (The computer is a new one - OS 10. 6. 6)

Anybody have any thoughts on how I can this this to open?

I queried Techauthority for help but no one has replied in more than a week.

I have a Mac, works on mine. Put disc in, if it don't open look in finder for your optical drive and click on it I think. If you don't get it im me and I will put mine in and record the steps I use for you.

Hi M ... thanks for your note. The inserted disk shows up in the Finder and it will open to show the various folders, including the SVGView. exe ... that's the file that must run before anything else will work ... unfortunately it won't open.

I downloaded Adobe SVG viewer but that doesn't appear to do anything either. Sigh.

I just did it. Insert cd.

In finder click on cd.

Click start.pdf.

Click go straight to publications.

You need to have Acrobat reader installed. This can be downloaded free for windows and Mac at their site and other download sites. Hope it works for you.

In windows an exe file starts a program install. On Mac it is an img. Not sure what I did first time but now I do what I wrote above.
