I have the factory radio with CD player. The CD was a copy that a freind of mine made which always had problems playing. Slow start, would not play when I select a different track. Now it will not eject. Anyone know how I can get the thing out without taking the radio out of the dash.

check the manual. Most radios have some way to reset them by holding a couple of buttons or some have a reset button, that may help.

Mine did the same thing yours did with a home made CD. I tried disconnecting the batteries and that didn't work. I finally replaced the stereo with a after market Pioneer. -Jason

Give the dash a good smack right above the player after you hit the eject button. Works on mine.

Tried the bang on the dash trick without success. The manual was no help. Guess I'll end up pulling the unit. Thanks for the replies.

I have had that problem and still do once in a while. I stick another cd in about a half an inch to a inch and push eject and the one stuck slides out .

works for me. dont know why:confused:

Tried all of the above with no success. When I turn the key to the ACC position the err code shows up in the display. Think I'll just pull the radio.

Anyone have the instructions on how to remove it?

First pull the dash bezel off... just give it a yank around the bottom, then pry it with your fingers... the radio then unscrews from the front... then a coupla wire/antenna connections...
